Cosy Little Italian Restaurant Round the Corner of Hanoi

*This trip was made in June 2013*

I first came to this beautiful and cosy little Italian Restaurant a little off the main streets of Hanoi when I visited the city for a business trip last year in May 2012. One of my local colleagues brought us there, and ever since then I remembered this place and I told myself that I would bring the bf (now Fiancé) there if I had a chance to!

Pane e Vino
3 Nguyen Khac Can, Tràng Tien, Hoan Kiem District,
Hanoi, Vietnam
+84 4 3826 9080

Cost per pax: US$14

As this place is located off the main street, I had took a little time trying to recall its exact location. However, I'm glad we were able to find our way there!

For your convenience, I found the map in Google so you could follow.

First, you should proceed to the Trang Tien Plaza, which is located in one corner of the Hoan Kiem Lake. After which, you could follow this map to locate the restaurant.

Cosy and comfortable restaurant ambience.

Complimentary French breads before the meal was served!
We learned a new way to have the bread with Vinegar while watching some other customers!
It was not too bad though!

Due to hot & humid weather in Hanoi, I had huge cravings for an ice-cold Coke!

Cheese Platter.
I'm not a fan of cheese, but according to the Fiancé, they are real yummy. You can try it for yourself!

Mushroom and Cream Pasta
I've forgotten the exact name of this pasta, but I remember it was cream and with mushrooms.
This is really delicious and the cream wasn't overwhelming.
The cream mixed really well with the mushrooms and pasta.

Smoked Salmon Pizza
The pizza is also very nicely baked, with a generous spread of smoked salmon on it!
The serving was huge and we couldn't finish it!
I really love the crust though! :)

With this huge portion of dinner we had, we only paid like around 600.000VND (US$28), including 3 cans of beer. A meal like this in Singapore can cost easily up to US$40-50 (definitely excluding the beer)!

And it's really close to the Hanoi's Opera House! You can make a trip there before, or after meal!

If you are there, I really recommend that you try out this restaurant! If you have some other restaurants to introduce, pls feel free to comment! I will definitely be back there again some time! :)

Been Really Busy ...

It's been a real long time since I last updated this little space of mine. I felt real busy, but, as I look back, I'm unsure what is keeping me busy.

I promise to come back real soon, with a brand new look.

Till then, pls meet the favorite native plant of mine from New Zealand.

I will come back. Promise. :)
